How Candela GentleMax Pro works
Candela GentleMax Pro is a professional laser system designed for long-term reduction of unwanted hair growth — not for permanent removal.
Light becomes heat
Laser energy is absorbed by the melanin in the hair and converted into heat, which damages the follicle structures responsible for further hair growth.
Cooling before every pulse
The integrated Dynamic Cooling Device (DCD) releases a brief burst of cryogen just before each laser pulse. It helps protect the skin surface and makes treatment more comfortable, even in sensitive areas.
Why a course of sessions
The laser works best on hairs in the active growth phase, so a course is needed for a visible, lasting result. The number of sessions is set individually.
